SSC has released the Sub-Inspector recruitment notification for Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, SSB). Eligible candidates should apply online immediately as the time window is limited. Full details are given below — read carefully and apply if eligible.

  • Last date for fee payment: 17 October 2025 (23:00 hrs)

CAPFs — Sub-Inspector (GD)
Summary: CAPFs have multiple vacancies across forces (CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB). Total CAPF vacancies (male + female) are large — force-wise breakup exists in the official notification.

Educational Qualification

For all posts a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent is required. Candidates appearing in the final year may apply provisionally but must provide proof of passing the degree by the specified date.

Note: For Delhi Police SI (Male) a valid LMV driving license (motorcycle & car) is required on date fixed for Physical test. Candidates without LMV driving license are only eligible for CAPF posts.

Age Limit (as on 01-Aug-2025)

General (UR): 20–25 years — born between 02-Aug-2000 and 01-Aug-2005.
Age relaxation as per rules: OBC +3 years, SC/ST +5 years. Ex-servicemen and departmental relaxations apply as per notification.

Selection Process (Short)

  1. Paper-I: Computer Based Test (CBT) — objective papers.
  2. Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — qualifying in nature.
  3. Paper-II: English (CBT) — for candidates shortlisted after PST/PET.
  4. Document Verification (DV) & Detailed Medical Examination (DME/RME) — final stages before joining.

Application Fee

Rs. 100/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Exemptions: Women, SC, ST, and eligible Ex-Servicemen — No Fee.

Payment modes: BHIM UPI, NetBanking, Debit/Credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/RuPay).

Correction charges: ₹200 (first correction), ₹500 (second correction) during correction window.

How to Apply (Short Steps)

  1. Create One-Time Registration (OTR) on https://ssc.gov.in or use the mySSC mobile app.
  2. Fill the online application form only — offline applications are not accepted.
  3. Upload photograph & signature as per specifications (photo capture via camera is accepted in app).
  4. Pay fee (if applicable) and submit. Keep printout/soft copy of submitted form for records.

Carry originals and self-attested copies of: Date of Birth proof (Matriculation/Secondary), Educational Certificate (Degree), Caste certificate (if applicable), Driving License (if applied for Delhi Police), Ex-Servicemen discharge documents (if applicable), NOC (if employed in Govt), and other annexures as required by the notification.

Pay Scale

Selected Sub-Inspectors will be placed at Level-6 (Pay Matrix) — basic pay range typically around ₹35,400 — ₹1,12,400 (as per applicable rules and allowances).
